About Simon — the artist behind the work
Simon Robin Stephens is a Carshalton-based watercolour artist. He paints familiar South London and Surrey places through colour, memory and atmosphere, exploring calm, memory and belonging. Original watercolours are hand-painted by Simon; prints, cards and coasters are artist-made reproductions. Read more about Simon on the About page.
Absolutely brilliant print copy of the original painting. I absolutely love the detail, colours and atmosphere—it has such a peaceful quality to it and really draws your eye into the scene. You can tell a lot of care and talent has gone into creating it, and it looks even better in person. It’s a beautiful piece of artwork that I’m genuinely delighted to own and will enjoy for many years. Highly recommended!
